Challenge CupNo other event brings the Golf Industry together like the AGSA Challenge Cup. The Challenge Cup format teams up Club Presidents, Managers, Professionals, & Superintendents from across the province in a stableford tournament hosted at some of the finest golf facilities available in Alberta and BC. Designed as an event to promote communications & understanding between the leaders of the Golf Industry, this two day event provides fellowship, brainstorming, interclub communication, competition, & team building. Challenge Cup is quickly becoming "the don't miss event" in the Golf Course Industry. In 2004 this event attracted 256 players representing 62 Alberta golf clubs and 2 Industry Sponsor teams. The two day tournament is a net stableford event that is played over two courses on alternating days. There is both team competition as well as individual prizes. The unique betting sheets have proven to be very valuable in creating networking opportunities with other golf clubs in the Alberta golf market.The last two years the event has been hosted by the Springs at Radium and Eagle Ranch Golf Club in the beautiful Invermere Valley.
