Carnmoney Golf Club is seeking an enthusiastic, team-oriented individual with excellent communication and leadership skills to fill our Equipment Technician position. The Equipment Technician is an integral part of our Turf Department Management team. The primary responsibilities of the Equipment Technician will be to manage the fleet of golf course maintenance equipment, set up an equipment service plan, and properly communicate any needs or problems relating to the maintenance or repair of equipment to the Property Superintendent and or Assistant Superintendent(s). The current fleet of equipment at Carnmoney is very modern. All of the equipment is owned and a majority is under 5 years of age. The golf car fleet is electric and will be brand new at the start of the 2021 season. The Turfcare Facility provides a comfortable and functional maintenance shop with adequate equipment storage and a healthy repair budget. The Equipment Technician will be included in the decision-making process for future equipment purchases and long-range plans for the entire Turfcare Facility. The position requires placing teamwork and safety as a top priority as well as maintaining a clean service and parts inventory area.

This Rod Whitman designed golf club is truly a unique property set in the beautiful North Saskatchewan River Valley in Southwest Edmonton. Blackhawk is a players club with members that log many rounds during the season. The Bunker Foreman will oversee the maintenance of 93 bunkers working with a team of two to three staff on a daily basis. The Bunker Foreman is a key member of the grounds crew and will work closely with the Assistant Superintendent to achieve the expected standard for the bunkers at Blackhawk.
The mechanic at Strathmore Golf Club is an important member of the Turf Department team. They are in charge of the day to day maintenance and repair of all golf course equipment and vehicles. We are looking for a highly motivated, positive and well organized individual.

Woodside Golf Course is seeking an Assistant Superintendent who will report directly to the Golf Course Superintendent while communicating with staff and other facility departments. Under the Superintendent’s supervision the 1st Assistant Superintendent will participate and implement maintenance practices including fertility planning and application, pesticide planning and application, water management, and various golf course maintenance tasks and projects. The Assistant will also be responsible to supervise and manage the maintenance staff while performing related work as required. The Assistant will serve in the golf course’s Superintendent capacity during their absence.
