The Glencoe Golf & Country Club is a 45-hole private golf facility situated on 440 acres along the Elbow River just outside of Calgary, AB.
Description of Role
To help us in our mission to create exceptional experiences for our members, guests, and employees. Being involved in as many aspects of the maintenance operation as possible as part of a leadership group guiding a maintenance team of up to 70 people. Work term is negotiable from availability in spring until potentially December 2021.
Responsibilities and Duties
• Course set-up and other daily maintenance practices • Cultural practices & product applications • Irrigation system use, repair, & blowout • Opportunity to lead teams through various projects • Event and tournament prep • Course improvement projects
Desired Experience
• Enrolled in or recently completed a turf management program • Posses a strong work ethic and desire to learn • Driver's License and reliable transportation needed

Additional Details
A successful candidate will need to complete a Criminal Background Check and ‘Respect in the Workplace’ Training. Interested individuals are encouraged to inquire to obtain an Intern Information Package
